The Whipsaws Release Debut Album

The long awaited and highly anticipated debut album from The Whipsaws is finally a reality. On Saturday, January 7th, 2006, The Whipsaws will release their first record, "Ten Day Bender", at the Snow Goose Theatre in downtown Anchorage.
The album, which was produced by The Whipsaws, was recorded and mixed by Eric Braund at Resound Recording Studio in Anchorage, Alaska in July 2005. With a southern rock/alt-country sound and a twangy feel that makes you want to stomp your boots on the floor, this album is very much a product of Alaska. The Whipsaws are very pleased with this album, and are excited about the future, which includes a late spring, or early summer tour in the lower states.
Doors to the release party open at 9:00 pm, followed by music from very special guests. Tickets are $10, available at the door. Tickets are expected to sell out, but can be reserved by sending name, email, and number of tickets requested to: tickets@thewhipsaws.com.
