EVERY TIME A CHILD DIES

Every time a child dies,
An angel hangs her head and cries,
With tears of crystal liquid light,
To guide them home within the night.
A childs soul is pure and sweet,
And angels know they are complete,
With innocence cut short on earth,
While humans wonder what it's worth.
To have a child for such short time,
Than without reason, without rhyme,
They fall into eternal sleep,
While mother's bow their heads and weep.
Every time a child dies,
An angel hangs her head and cries,
She spreads her ever glorious wings,
And lullabyes is what she sings,
A childs soul so full of love,
Is carried up to heaven above,
Wrapped in feathers made of clouds,
Where proclamtions are made out loud.
'In heaven we now have a child'
'Who's heart is free and reconciled'
'With all the love in which God brings'
'This child now has earned their wings'.
Every time a child dies,
An angel bows her head and cries,
Sparks from halo's fall like rain,
To help their parents ease there pain,
In silent prayers, not gone unheard,
Without speaking a single word,
They bathe them in their gentle glow,
So inwardly the parents know,
An angel had been born today,
And in their hearts will always stay.
*** For each and everyone of you who have ever lost a child! May the angel's light shower upon you and heal your pain!
