So, you say your wife is pregnant,
Well, there's things you need to know,
Just little things to help you,
As you watch her tummy grow.

These things are much important,
So you best pay close attention,
Just simple words now, to the wise,
Of things you should not mention.

The one thing you should never say,
When her chocolate craving grows,
Is "Honey, I am so sorry but,
I ate all the Oreos!"

For when a pregnant woman,
Decides she needs her fix,
This simple phrase could kill you,
For her "mood" and this wont mix.

Never, EVER tell her that,
You think she's looking fat,
Or ask her if her ankles are,
"Supposed to look like THAT".

Don't say a word that could imply,
She's adding too much girth,
Or say the baby will not weigh,
Twenty pounds at birth.

Another thing you must avoid,
If you don't want her to scream,
Never, EVER tell her to,
"Go get her own ice cream"!

Don't tell her that she's puffy,
Or remark about her thighs,
Don't make remarks "I hope your butt,
Does not STAY that size"

Remember that she's carrying,
The child of your seed,
So keep your lips so tightly sealed,
If you don't want them to bleed!
