As the daylight raider rests his metallic eyes upon the universe
The nightweaver awakens from the lost frontier
And garnishes the atmosphere with it�s broad and miraculous ebony blanket
The shooting star comes bursting by like a rocket lit
As he gathers up his millions of brothers and sisters, all serene
Like the strands of pearls adorned on the queen
In which he enriches his robust robe with
And flutters across the galaxies, releasing darkness that he has yet to give
Partaking it�s eternal glitter with the gods
That Ptolemy had sworn he saw
The nightweaver�s enduring lips kiss the satellites goodnight
As his brilliant eyes dims the sunlight
And his sacred hands heave to Aurigae
As he grants each of his brothers and sisters a name
Oh, he radiates Sirius and casts the pulsars
And adds a little quintessence to the quasars
Right before the comet�s effulgent tail blazes through the scene
Piercing the darkness with a scream
Showing the sign of approaching incandescense
The light begins to show and the stars wince
And the nightweaver assembles his family
Returning to his frontier that remains a mystery
As he uncovers that ebony blanket
Then falls asleep again, as the sun began to lit
It�s eternal flame, and the daylight raider unfolds it�s genteel, azure quilt again
