i know the feeling, i had problems fitting mine.
i found that if you work out where the holes want to be and then strip the fasteners/angled bracket thing off and fit one side then fit the otherside and bolt the visor on after fitting the brackets it seems to fit no problem.
They do fit and they are worth the effort getting them on as they look cool.
