The raven haired amn rushes to weakened mare's side and sets the colt gently down as he stokes her neck and takes the bandana off, he grabs a bucket with water and gently cleans the wounds then uses Shannon's herbs to create a paste to spread on it, the man takes advantage of her state to fetch a blanket to spread across her to keep her warm and not catch a chill, he returns and spreads it across her then cradles the colt close as he sits with the mare and tries to give her a drink of fresher water, he gently coos and talks to her the whole while, trying to keep the mare calm as well as the colt.
