Subject: Mic reminded me of Charlie Brown and the football. He would never achieve the goal but he would faithfully try. My Mic physically abusive to Mac? Never, he loved her. She is the one that slapped him (totally uncharacteristic for her IMHO). I liked Mic if only that he was good for Mac's ego. I didn't think he really stood a chance with her but he did make her laugh, he loved to go up against her in court as it made him a better lawyer and I loved that he got Harm's goat (unfortunately not enough to get him to do something about it until the engagement party). Don't forget, it was Mac that went to Mic after Singer planted the mishap report and made that telephone call when she was posing as a Wiccan. Was she leading him on? Playing with fire as she knew how he felt about her.(Inside)

Mac gave Mic mixed signals just before he was recalled to Australia and then when she asked to accompany the body back to Australia. Mic had many good qualities. When he first came to JAG he made sure that Mac was a free agent before going after her, he stepped aside so Harm could rescue Keeter, and lost his job when he refused to go up against Harriet and Bud. (Mac aggresively went up against her former CO and lover John Farrow.) I agree that Mic was strutting around like peacock at his potential job function. I think he was truly proud of having this smart beautiful woman as his significant other but he was showing off. Mac could have sucked it up for an afternoon or should have taken him aside and told him that if he didn't quit acting like a jerk she was out of there. Mac had forgotten about their dinner date, twice he was sent out on Jingo duty but took it all in stride. She owed him that courtesy. Yes the guy took a reckless chance coming to the States without notice but everyone acts as if Mac had no will here. (I know TPTB wrote it) Not yet Harm could have well cost her the chance of having children. Some indication that he would be sometime down the road making a committment would have been nice, not a well if in 5 years no one else is around type of proposition. I know Mic bugged most but I found him to be amusing if only because he made Mac laugh and that she at least knew that here was someone who really loved her. I kind of felt sorry for him as I knew he was being used but he hoped that she would grow to love him.
