For the Diamonds, I think Mac knew something was up, but not necessarily that it was Sadik. But she'd been on the case of the synthetic diamonds before, and that coupled with her being a supposed diamond expert in Paraguay probably led her to believe it was someone affiliated with Sadik, but not Sadik himself....

I think it was probably Mac's idea to enlist the CIA's help...Mac isn't a stupid woman, and though she's a strong woman, going into a situation like this totally alone was just not smart....cause there was no *telling* what Sadik wanted, whether it was just her or something more sinister.

This is a tough one....she probably was trying to NOT let him get inside of her head, because she knew that would cloud her judgment and her thinking...I'm sure she also thought of Paraguay...Webb's torture, her own mental anguish, the missionaries who were executed before her eyes...not to mention probably putting the dots together and realizing Sadik was responsible for Harm's injury...but she also knew of his penchant for mind games, and was doing a little mind game playing of her own, which threw Sadik off balance....you never really knew where Mac was going, even when Sadik thought he had her, he really didn't....he never thought she'd be wired, and he never thought she'd be as tough as she was....she took a beating but gave it right back to him.....

I think she wore white because Sadik had in his mind a "pure" Muslim woman, and it went along with his little game about making her subservant to him....plus she was attractive in it, and she knew Sadik found her attractive, he wanted her to come with him, and in this case I think Mac's looks helped keep Sadik off balance. Yeah when the shoes came off I was like "oh boy you are going to get it!" which he did.

I thought it was brilliant how Mac got him to confess his plans, and because of her every life in that nightclub was saved. We don't know how big the club was, but I've heard of clubs having anywhere from 50 to a few hundred people in them, so Mac's actions saved many many lives.

I think the difference between Mac and Sadik is that even though (IMHO) she had no choice but to kill him, she showed remorse and guilt for it. Not because she was sorry for Sadik, but because it came down to the fact she had to kill.....He had another weapon, and even if he couldn't of killed her, who's to say he couldn't of detonatad his bomb killing all those other lives? Sure it would've been nice if the CIA had been able to interrogate him, but whose to say they would've gotten the chance? Remember the terrorist in Tribunal took his own life before any info could be obtained from him, Sadik would've done the same thing....Mac did the right thing ridding the world of a known terrorist, and probably saved numerous lives by doing so. But she showed that she is human and wasn't like Sadik, because she couldn't just kill and not feel any guilt.

I did hate the whole way Sadik talked to Mac, with his calling her a (well you know) and the barren comment...but I especially *detested* TPTB for making that barren comment stand, it was like they were just making Sadik's comments come true, to make Mac feel less worthy and less of a woman. It would've been nice to see them buck the trend and have Mac have a child, just to prove to herself that Sadik's words were hollow, but that's the chauvinistic DB for you, never giving the female character a break....Enough of that....

I do love how Mac didn't need anyone to *rescue* her or *save* her....she is capable of handling tough situations, and is very much capable of being a hero. Its just too bad that this was a CIA affiliated mission, for it would've been nice for Mac to be recognized for being a hero, and for ridding the world of a known terrorist. It wasn't an easy decision, but it proved Mac was human but also that she is heroic.....JMVHO....
