Subject: Yes I think S10 was necessary....heck I would've watched had it continued on LOL! I do wish that they would've started the season with the original premiere, which was what we now know as the 4% Solution...that would've made much more sense, & could've possibly set things in action. I don't want to rehash all the crap that happened, cause that's not productive. I don't blame TPTB for grasping onto that line CBS threw, there were 200-300 jobs on the line & like I've said before its a business & as much as we don't like certain aspects of it its all about money. I do wish however that CBS would've fished or cut bait sooner...instead of dangling that proverbial carrot (where is our veggie friend LOL) told the producers at the beginning of 2005 "hey this is it" Inside....

As for Vukovic, sure hindsight is 20/20....knowing that it was in fact the end I can see why in the world waste so much time on these characters? Because CBS was giving them a chance for renewal.....But I saw (I think) where the character was going, much like Tom Cruise's character in A Few Good Men, as the bad boy-turned good guy. TC in AFGM also had little respect for his CO's (Demi Moore's character outranked him by 2 ranks and he never showed her respect) and that's kinda where I think it was going. I do agree that it was mishandled, and even though Beetem was cute the character was handled wrong, and so was the PR IMHO surrounding the character.

But no, S10 had some good episodes, and yeah some not so good ones, just like other seasons. I think the glaring factor for me in S10 was no AJ, and though I liked Cresswell, he was kinda bland compared to AJ....and JMJ had a HUGE following.....

DB always maintained he would, IF EVER, get the characters together at the very end...that's exactly what he did, and he could've very well had them go their separate ways instead of revamping the ending, and again who knows if CBS had pulled the plug a little earlier if there would've been more of a lead up, because at the time the plug was pulled they were still operating on the chance of renewal.

Sure I would've liked to have seen a 2 hour finale...I would've liked to of seen a little romance leading up to the proposal...I would've liked to of scene less recurring characters in the finale (this includes Vukovic, Coates, Mikey,) and more focus on Harm & Mac & Bud & Harriet, but you know what, I can live with it. They committed to each other, were going to get married, and that last scene in McMurphy's with that sensual kiss and the way both looked refreshed, relaxed, and at peace, like they had finally found their happiness together and the weight was lifted, is enough for me....
