She comes over next to her. She had some food for her. "You'll be alright. I have 3 other collies around here somewhere. Don't worry.... If Kat comes back, you have every right to stay with me, got it?" she smiles at her and helps her with the food. She gets a mild brush and starts to work on her coat softly, soon getting it back to a healthy glow. "I'll give ya a bath later" she takes a wet rag and wipes her coat, then a dry one and does the same, making it shine even more. "There. We'll get ya pretty again girl, don't worry." She gives her some more dog food but pours some chicken broth on it to make it taste better and make it a bit softer. She hopeed Lassie would be ok...

Tears fall down her cheeks. Diego was gone and had been gone. Lassie had left and came back but not for her. No one cared about Kat. She knew it and wanted to leave. Killing herself seemed like the only way out and she was gonna make it possible.

(OOC: Okay? What in the world is going on? I wait and wait for you to respond back to me but you don't and suddenly you are dying and Jen's your new owner? Funny... This whole game seems just like my life. I lose my kitty. I lose my doggie. I lose the whole point to live.)

^She hikes up her head and looks straight into Kat's eyes. Her words come slowly, but truthfuly^ I never...I didn't...I wasn't going to... ^She lifts up the front half of her body, never unlocking her gaze from Kat's^ I looked and looked for you. I tried to kill myself too. Then I tried to join the wolves, then the wild dogs. I never gave up hope of finding you. I... ^She lets her head fall but continues her words^ I hoped you'd come back..and I wouldn't leave you for anyone unless on your command I was to stay with them. ^Her breathing becomes less raspy and her hopes to have Kat back become stronger and stronger, hoping she wasn't angry with her^

She turns away trying not to cry. This was all her fault. It truly was. Nothing Lassie did was wrong. "I looked for you too but couldn't find you. I kept hoping you would come back. It's ok. I am the one being a jerk. You are the best dog in the world! I should have looked harder. Don't be mad at me, please? I am sorry... so very, very, very sorry!" She can no longer hold her tears and cries. "I am so sorry Lassie! Please forgive me! Please! I am sorry Jennifer! I am sorry everyone! Do you want to live here Lassie? I will do anything to get you back."
