the dirt is thrown away and Gunner floats up. He stares at Nightmare and then, ina heartbeat, he is thrown into th e creek paralyzed. Then Bridget's wounds are healed. Gunner falls to the ground in a heap

He wasn't dead, or hurt, just xhausted from the power he used to do that. "Are you ok?"
