::She watches him leap towards the tree, then looks at the clawmarks he left behind in the blackened back. Backing a few steps, she pushes off with her legs, springing powerfully to the log. Bringing her left foreleg up to guard, she slams her right talons across the bark, leaving neat rows of deep gouges in the wood. Turning back to face Archer, she nods toward the log, their clawmarks clearly visible against the black bark::
Bring one leg up to guard against their attack, use the other as hard as you can. A slapping motion tends to work best, especially if you twist your shoulders and use your bodyweight behind the strike. If you're on the ground, you can even use a flap of your wings to gain more speed coming into the attack. Let's see you go again.
::Quickly shooting flames, she re-blacks the bark, then jumps up and circles tightly over the log, wanting to see his attack from above::
