Please note that the web site is no longer maintained but welcome anyone wishing to contact me regarding interest about the site.
Note that my email address is different to that shown on the site as I have now entered the 21st century, my backwater village having gone broadband.

Hello Mike, I�m following up on a forum post in 2002 re Thomas Rowbotham of Birmingham.

How interesting.
I am related in that my Catherine Gadsby married Thomas� brother John. The message goes on to include email messages from Rowbotham relatives in Canada. This lady is directly related to Catherine and John�s children who all immigrated after the death of their parents. It had always bugged me what happened to them as Catherine�s brother�s family went to Australia.(that�s us)
The post gives me a clue. I have been researching for a blog on their discovery in Canada and I�d love to make contact with the lady you were corresponding with . Are you also related to them? (Joan Rowbotham) Could you patch me through to her please?

There�s a mention of the Rowbotham �s briefly in the third blog down. I thought I was nearly finished as far as I could go with the new story until I researched a mention of Gilbertstone Grange and found your conversation !!
