Subject: Frankenstein Unbound

Recently Fox Movies Channel aired "Frankenstein Unbound". I was in for a treat and didn't know it! Having only small memories of this film as a sort of "made for video" piece, I forgot about it.
What a wild ride!
John was breathtaking in it. I cannot remember the last time I chanced upon one of his roles that showcased him in the prime of his life - and I'm hungry for more. I've only found one picture of him is "Frankenstein Unbound" - the still of him shooting a pistol, in black and white.
I wonder if anyone knows of other pictures (of John!)from that film.
I am a follower of great voices. His and Sir Robert Stephens are my favorite vocal performers...
Anyone seen John in "Lear" with Olivier? Heartbreakingly wonderful.
:) AV.

And a lovely shot of Raul too. :)
Can't help but smile when I see it.
In other news: I rented Midnight Express, because it was the only other film at Blockbuster with John in it.
Max is indeed an interesting character. Too bad that they never mentioned if he lived or died.
Ach, has anyone read the book? O_O
