Dose any one know where I can get ALL 9 of the Storyteller episodes on Vhs? I know they have relaesed four of them, and the Greek one, but I am not interested in the Greek ones. If you do, please post it here.

Hi, Evesdropper! Why don´t You have a look at eBay.com or eBay.co.uk ? I´ve seen that the storyteller-episodes on VHS are offered there from time to time. For my part, I´m waiting for them to be released on DVD, but I think at least it is worth a look, also to look around for other movies with John Hurt ;-)

Hello klotho,
I have looked on eBay, there is someone selling all of them for $59.99 and $6.00 shipping. Not a bad price for an out-of print series, but I would like to find it a little cheaper. I HAVEN'T looked on eBay.co.uk, but the ones I have seen from the UK have all been in the Pal format, which my VCR dosen't play. I am hoping that with the popularity of the Lord of the Rings,and anything "fantasy" that there will be a re-release of all the "old" fantasies.

Apparently, The Storyteller will never be released on DVD. I have suggested to Jim Henson Productions that a DVD Box Set would be incredibly popular, but they have no interest.

Although, I am determined to get this series made into DVD. I am going to try and get together a petition to give to Henson Co just to make them realise that there are a lot of fans who wish to see this again. If any of you wish to help make this happen feel free to email me.

I would love to help you do this!!! I absolutley love the Jim Henson Storyteller series and I have found it very dificult to find or buy any of this series.... I think there needs to be something done for the fans that truly love his work... and it should be available on DVD.

I´ve just discovered, that "The Storyteller" has appeared on DVD some weeks ago. It is available at amazon.com right now. Of course, this is region1, I don´t know if it is available as region2 for Europe already.
This is wonderful, isn´t it? I haven´t seen this series for ages, I´m really looking forward to seeing it again.
Did You have anything to do with Jim Henson Productions´ change of mind ?
