Weathered moved 166,000 copies for the week ended Sunday, according to SoundScan data. That's less than half of the previous week's sales, but the disc was unchallenged with no new releases entering the pop album charts. Creed needs only to hold the top spot for one more week to match the feat accomplished by 'N Sync, whose 2000 release No Strings Attached had an eight-week run at number one, the best showing in years. To recap, the Top 10 albums for the week ended January 6 were: 1. Weathered, Creed, 166,000 2. Hybrid Theory, Linkin Park, 124,000 3. Word of Mouf, Ludacris, 106,000 4. Silver Side Up, Nickelback, 103,000 5. Now That's What I Call Music: Vol. 8, Various, 97,000 6. A Day Without Rain, Enya, 96,000 7. Pain Is Love, Ja Rule, 94,000 8. M!ssundazstood, Pink, 91,000 9.
