She removed herself quietly from the corner she had been bitterly lingering in to join the throng of her seemingly distraught acquantainces.

"This is stupid." Her words secrete a subtle venom; she looks from Doom to Dynesty with chagrined eyes. "And yes, I do know what I'm talking about." She smiles scathingly at the two antagonized vixens before continuing her razor-sharp 'sermon'. "I've had this happen to me, and I know Secret has as well. One would assume that I would side with Dynesty, for she is in the exact position I was, while Secret was in your position, my dear Sun Doom. However," her tone languishes a bit now, fermenting between florid clauses and the rugged truth, "neither of us prevailed. The man we each thought we loved--and each believed loved us--left, in nearly the exact same manner that Truth did. Truth simply left a bit earlier, is all."
"And now? Secret has a new mate who seemingly loves her very much, and I suppose I have one as well."
"The moral? Life goes on, I'm afraid. There's no denying it, and there's no hiding from it. Little point in doing either of those, you might say, when there is so much to be gained from what we call being alive." That said, she recoils--though not in fright--and moves liquidly in the opposite direction. Moronic 'royalty' and their proceedings....dull.
