He takes a thoughtful sip of his drink. "If you had a lady-love, you would have announced it as proudly as if you'd been crowned King. If you didn't care for anyone, you would have flat-out said so. If it was that pretty bit dancing with Kellan, you never would have called him over. But instead you acted like I hadn't asked." He takes another sip. "We grew up together, remember, Serrit? So who's the lady, and what's the problem?"
