Aye, that she would. I must go collect the herd of sheep, as some have seemed to straggle...
~she smiled and bid Etaoin a temporary farewell, nudging her steed into his lazy, ambling and yet ground-eating trot as she turned him away from the mare and to where most of the sheep still grazed, wandering loose but mostly too occupied with grazing to wander far. Longing for a sheepdog for aid in this task, she quickly snapped a still-leafy branch that had been broken in a storm off the tree. Some leaves were brown, dry and dead, while some were only halfway to that state, and a precious few were still green.
Steed wandering around to the back of the herd, she moved them towards a corral. A horse corral, yes. But it would have to suffice, as they had no shepard and no one could supervise the wandering animals. Occasionally she nudged a sheep lightly with the stick, moving them in the proper direction if they were straggling, wandering or reluctant to get going. Searching for missing stragglers took a great deal longer, but was simplified by the fact of her elevated vantage point. Once every last sheep was contained in the corral, she started for the stable~
