Author: Brett Armstrong [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 21:38:36 02/28/02 Thu The scene opens at a big house with a huge field around it and a bunch of pitbulls running around everywhere. A man walks out from a den that has a swimming pool behind it. The man continues walking until he reaches the gate to his driveway where a camera crew isalready filming. The man opens a small gate door by the big gate and walks to the outside of the yard. He shuts the gate preventing the dogs from getting out then turns to the camera men. Brett Armstrong: How the hell are you guys? It's great to be back in the WCHW! As you all know, I've been out almost a month before the WCHW's closing due a near death experience at the hands of Nightare. Well, it's a shame Nghtmare may not be back yet because I had alittle score to settle with that son of a bitch! But you know what? Maybe it's a good thing he wont be back, it'll save me from some time in prison! Brett walks around laughing at his remarks. Brett: Ahh hell, I'll put the past behind me, now it's time for me to pick up where I had left off, and that is the Hardcore Title! Now that Nghtmare isnt around, that title should be vacant. So who better to take it than the Icon, Brett Armstrong?! Now is there anyone who might like to challenge me for that title? Or is everyone too smart and know not to get in my way? As I see it, at Rebirth of Tragey, it will be the rebirth of Brett Armstrong kicking everyone's asses! And to this guy Ares, you want some back up? You want allies? Well if I see you prove to be something in the WCHW, you have an ally right here. But the last time I just joined someones side, they fled and left me high and dry! Now I am not willing to go through that again! In the WCHW, I've learned you have to work for what you get, and you have to work for trust! So like I said, you show me what you got, then we'll talk! Now to all you guys with the big cameras, get the hell out of here! I have to get ready for Rebirth of Tragedy! Brett Armstrong waves the cameras away as he gets back into his yard. There are many camera people setting up and many people waiting to ask him questions. Ares grabs the mic and begins to speak. Ares: Brett Armstrong....you say that you need me to prove myself to you. PROVE MYSELF TO YOU!. You will soon learn that there is only one person that I have to prove myself to, and that is me. But if what you want is for me to show you that I can fight and that I can hold my own and protect my friends, then I will show you that when Rebirth happens. And you will see that you have made the right decision by showing interest in me. Now as for the event at Rebirth it is going to be a battle royal for all the marbles, and I am throwing my name into the hat as the sleeper. Noone knows about me, and that can only come into my advantage. Everyone will under-estimate me, but when they see my ability then they will know that they are in for the fight of there lives, and that they are going to learn and remember my name. Reporter 1: Ares, noone has seen any of your matches, or even heard of your name. Where have you come from? Ares: Well, I will tell you all this I have been with the best of the feds, and they have not been that interesting to me. I have wrestled in Japan, and that again was not that interesting. So I decided that I would give the WCHW a chance. All I came here to fucking say today is that if Brett Armstrong wants me to prove my fucking self for him, and show him that I can be trusted he just has to wait until the event, and he will find out that what he has found in me is a title holder just waiting for his chance.
