So what did you think of the President's speach last night? I thought it was a pretty good speach but I'm not sure how it is that he thinks we're going to pay for all of this?

I especially liked the mention of increasing pay for military personel. I think that it might help to attract more people to he military and put off the notion of starting the draft up again....not that I think we're any where close to that at the moment.

I would like a bit more explaination about how this war on terrorism is going to spread out. He named a lot of place last night that they are keeping an eye on. Do we have to send troops to the whole list?

I think I'm going to have to look into this idea about setting up retirement accounts that follow a person from job to job throughout their working life. On the surface it sounds like a good thing...but isn't that what social security started out to be and look where it has ended up. I'm still thinking on that one.

All in all I give Bush a thumbs up.

I wish the third Bush generation would get their act together though. Sounds like they are having a rough time of it.
