At the simple request from me, to my physician at the time, two lovely young nurses came to my room with a 1500 ml soapy water enema and gave me a delightful time.
Most physicians would be 'willing' to order enemas for their in-hospital patients, but are 'afraid' that their patients won't like the treatment, and are afraid that giving an enema might cause that patient to seek out another physician.
The practice of Medicine is, after all, a business, and in order to STAY IN BUSINESS, physicians tend to feel that they at least don't OFFEND their patients with noxious therapy of any kind.
Go ahead, be bold, and ask your physician to order up some enemas for you. the next time you happen to BE in a hospital. My own mother, at MY request, was given an enema IN the Emergency Room, one time when she was badly constipated. You should have seen the 'improved' look on her face once the 'bad stuff' was out of her. She went home from the Emergency Room, with even a hospital stay.
