The muffled cross of a yelp and a growl rise through her vocals, though the sound is coft, beneath her breath. At first, the beautiful young woman's almond-shaped orbs grow wide with surprise of the mild pressure on her foot, but then it turns to reserved indignation. Toned arms of the feminine sophomore cross, showing a visible struggle as she bites back a flaring and hostile demand Jordan's way. Only the shock of the situation keeps her tongue still, chaotic thoughts trying to tumble into a fiery senteces, yet somehow words such as "get off my foot" do not approach her mind.
Squirming within her seat, the slender frame of the young woman takes a minute to settle, as she dubiously listens to Jordan's words. Truthfully, she didn't buy into the whole irritance because his feelings are hurt. It was probably more along the lines that he was used to woman fawning all over him, treating him like some kind of Wyoming god. Still, as Madison makes the crack about Jordan's obeyance to "Daddy Mac," she does not laugh, though a faint smile of mischeivous humor graces her well-defined lips.
Relieved as his boot finally moves away from her foot, Fowler shifts again, momentarily thinking of sitting cross-legged. She opts against the internal suggestion, but she still shoots the handsome cowboy a half-glare, half-glance of medium disgust; well, more like hurt pride. Although "sulking" because of the previous fact, the exquisite brunette does pay attention to the last of his words. The tiniest portion of a frown appears on her honey-hued expression, her stormy eyes a bit greener at this moment, matching the hunter green of her simple long-sleeved shirt. Full atention redirects to Madison,well-arc'd eyebrow lifting in brooding curiosity. "Don't tell me your family sent you a body guard, too." The slightest notion of Carson being the appointed chaperone of her good will made her feel ill; the independent one never wanted to be another's burden, another's responsibility. The saucy girl could take care of herself, or, at least, most of the time.
