Smoothly, the filly of shimmering gold dust lowers herself into the water. She rolls in the shallows, silver fish leaping out of the water, spray flying everywhere. The clear water bubbles and gurgles, refreshing her. Her hooves flail, diamonds amid the surf.

When she emerges, froth laces her mane like gossamer. Bubbles are interwoven in her chocolate tail. She shakes herself, damp fur and plastered forelock. Water droplets jewel her lahes.

Daintily, she picks her way between rocks, prancing towards Yuluwirri. Sunbeams dance upon her hide, warming the wet fur. Her tail cascades, spraying onto her back like a fountain as she holds it high. She tosses her mane, eyes glinting.

Where now?
What other secrets did this land hold?
The floods were almost gone. She looked around nervously, wary of the stallions that occupied this territory.
Golden muzzle is stretched towards the cream one, whuffing softly.
