*Young woman gently pulls on reins and obedient stallion stops. Looks behind her and motions to Kimi and Jess, then dismounts and crawls along the ground to the rise where they could view the horses better. Looks to either side as Kimi and Jess crawl up beside her. Talks quietly, so as not to disturb the grazing horses.* Seeing as it's spring now, most of the mare would have had their foals. Look there, that's a new one, *she points to a grey mare and a dark filly* the mares young, that's probab... *Stops mid sentence and stares. There was a palomino there. A palomino mare. Brianna knew who she was. Whispers to herself.* Bel Bel. Thowra's dam, with a foal at foot. She'd be getting on in her years. *Puts her binoculars up to her eyes and watches the horses, and spies a black stallion grazing near the grey mare.* We'd better watch him. *Then she trains the glasses on the other herds, watching carefully. There were four herds in all, each one of them a certain distance away from the others.*
