Subject: Our time together has been sweet...but all things must end.

*It had been a couple days since she was last at Angelo's, and everytime she allowed herself to think of what had taken place she felt that wash of fear. She didn't care about him, she knew she didn't. And she didn't care what he said to her, how kind and loving he was. Things could never last between them. She looked up as her door creaked open, and she saw that it was Adrien standing there.*

$"So you've continued to see him have you? Even after I have forbbiden it? Do you love him Ariel? Is that it?"$He shut the door behind him, his eyes focused on her, intent. Vocals cold.$

*She shook her head.* "No. You know I am not capable of love... least of all for someone like him."*
$"You are a lying bitch Ariel. You wouldn't have attacked me if you weren't in love with him."$

*"You have it all wrong."*She kept her tone cool, calm, hiding her reel feelings.* "I was only angry because I was being forbbiden to do what I wanted to do. Angelo means nothing to me."*

$"Prove it."$He replied coldly.$

*Standing ot her feet and moving ot him she took his hands, leading him to the bed where she pressed him down against it. Straddling his lap she took his face in her hands and began to kiss him, pushing him back against the bed, hands slipping to undo his shirt. She was doing this not only to prove to him that she didn't love Angelo, but also to prove to herself that she didn't love him either. Their actions were quick and heated, and almost fierce. He angry at her for going against his wishes, chosing to be with another man rather then him. She was desperate to prove to herself that this was still the man she was dedicated to. His hands rested on her hips, his lips suckling at her throat, leaving a mark. Their clothes had been shed with carelessness, some stil partially on, none mattering as they sought out their intended purpose. When it was over he held her to him, hand at her face, dark green eyes bright and still angry.*

$"He can not have you Ariel...you realize that do you not?"$He waited until she nodded.$ "Your father promised you to me...and oyu are mine until I tell you otherwise. I am the only man who wil ever care for you properly. I am the only one who knows your full history....all that you are. He could never truly understand you."$He was manipulating her, and she knew it. But he was so good at it that she found herself nodding, agreeing with him. His hand skimmed down over her throat and across her breasts before he stood up, putting his clothes back into proper order.$ "Do not forget Ariel."$And he turned and left her room.$

*She sat up, pulling her blankets aroun dher, teeth clamped on her bottom lip, eyes watchign the closed door.*
