I am VERY excited about this fall. Though I am not yet an enrolled student of GSU, I will be NEXT fall. I am very happy that I was allowed to be involved in the YAHOO! group GSUallience, I can't wait to learn more about the group and become involved. One thing that I've always wanted to do since I finally was able to come to terms with my sexuality, is to just MEET people. I go to School @ Gainesville College which is just 30-40 miles north of ATL. I can't wait to move to ATL and do what I've always wanted to do, live in a city. I've always lived in some outskirts of a major city, but NEVER in one. So what I hope comes of this year is change and social evolution for myself, and best of wishes to everyone else. When my membership to the alliance was pending, and I was looking at the pictures you have in the YAHOO! group, I not only found some people familiar, but I went to HIGH SCHOOL with some of them (I went to WEST HALL HIGH for all those out there that are interested ;-)) I hope that with this new year comes more group activities on a "meet and greet" basis. I think that it would be great if everyone knew more people and got to become familiar with more people, so that if trouble hit, they could have someone to rely on and see help/council with, as well as find more friends to hang out with and maybe even once and a while, find someone they would like to date. Getting to know people is a big thing to me, and I can't wait to meet people in this club, I look forward to meeting alot, and maybe some time, all of you. I'd like to give a shout out to Josh Grapner (I saw you in the pics on the Yahoo! groups page... hint hint... we went to High School together, and you probably don't remember me, but I was in the band with you, and I gawked @ you alot...LOL... and anyone that reads this and knows Josh, give him a hard time, tell him he has a crush from high school!! LOL) who is an awesome guy and I hope to meet others that I either met before and get to know better, or those that I don't know at all!!! Well, everyone feel free to Email me @ GSSGDman@yahoo.com just to either say hey or anything else. Here's looking forward to meeting and becoming involved. P.S. I would LOVE to come to any meet and greet functions... and volunteer my time to any upcoming events that I can go to, so OFFICERS, feel free to get in touch with me.
