*the mare walked delecately so as not to splash herself as she stepped. She shook her delecate arabian head. She currently hated her life. Her mate left and the new alpha stallion's mate wanted her place as Alpha mare in the herd. In a normal situation a challenge would be in order, but she held nothing against them, and she would not let herself go so lowly as to hurt a mare with an infent. Her mate seemed quite practical, the only thing about him was how her carried the title of alpha stallion. Humble yourself She thought. But right now she knew she must put these problems aside and try to find a mate, and later attend to how to get things fixed between them. She scanned the land and seeing no stallions who did not have mates she lowered her head to drink.*
