Baringa paused briefly upon seeing her. He blew air through his nose, nickered softly, then trotted proudly towards her showing himself off. His neck was arched, his black mane flowing like a carpet of night. His stride was swinging and impressive. Every step, every graceful movement, enhanched his beauty. He stopped upon reaching her, and rose slowly in a gentle rear of greeting and landed without a sound. He whinnyed softly to her, and slowly extended his trembling black nose to hers ...
