First of all.. have you read the rules of Scythe? That will probably answer alot of your questions if you just read them from beginning to end.
Playing any character in Scythe can be 'dangerous' but that is the point. Almost everyone has the chance of being attacked.. if you read the rules you'll know what happens when you die.

If you want to find out about the other boards.. go there, read and find out! You need to learn to be self sufficient in role playing games. Posting schools like are not often in other games, and you need to find out things for yourself.

Reading the rules is very important though.. they usually explain questions and by going there, then going around and looking at the boards and what is happening on them, you can find out if that is something you would want to do.

This is the only Posting school on the site..and we can help with whatever you like..but I -really- think you can find out what is happening yourself. If you don't learn to do that without help, you may have some difficult problems in the future.
After all, there is nothing to worry about, it is a game.. you can't 'mess up'. Everyone does their own thing at their own pace, and if you get confused and slip up on something, either no one will notice, or someone will point you in the right direction..
Don't worry.. be adventurous, explore..
