the room was met with an icy cold, one which i had seldom been acquainted too. the fallacy of the situation accrued upon the realisation of how much we were of the utmost neccesity to each other. furthermore a love so warm turned to a hate so cold over one off the cuff statement?
cast your mind back about three years. the years is 2000.it is i think the year the feelings between us began to grow.
after championing the cause of the pope for years we finally met.
however the situation was an awkward one, not social at all; the meeting was both contained and bequethed within the vatican.
the first disagreement we had was regarding the "war on terrorism".
"tell me this" i cried "how is one to wage war on but a concept? or indeed a noun? we need something physical"
"pray for me" he replied clutching his belly.
"take me to the dialysis machine" he spluttered, his breath longing for the freedom it deserves.
i knew not where such an instrument was kept, or for that matter what one actually was.
i pulled his mouth close to my ear, and could feel the moistness of his tiny breaths vibrate my cochlea.
i needed to act quick.
upon this realisation i bundled him over my shoulder and ran down the corridor, knowing not where to go, or what to do, with only faith, and my own instinct to help me,, a not only his life, but the life of many othres in his hands...............
