Author: kieron casey [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 02:56:33 05/03/04 Mon In reply to: kieron casey 's message, "one boys amazing journey (to become a man): (a fame academy romance)" on 02:45:10 05/03/04 Mon i'm not sure whether the last word of the previos entry should have been dentist or destiny. i'll plump with destiny. anyhow.... i did not have my glasses, so although i couldn't see clearly enough what was going on, my ears told me something special was happening around me. my vision was enough to see the x-factor that exuded from the stage; like the rich aroma of pastry. and then it hit me. this mysterious figure on stage was alistar griffin, runner up only to alex parks on the hit bbc series fame academy hosted by cat deeley and that delightful patrick kielty. (on a personal note i believe the series would have benefited gettin rid of cat deeley and replacing her with someone really funny like a rory mcgrath, or a bill bailey. oh wait.....) my life flashed before my eyes. then allistar's life flashed before my eyes. then allistar's life flashed before my eyes. i felt like i was in a virtual reality helmet; all my reality was virtual, much like the type of insanity jay kay of jamiroquai fame suffered from in his hit single of the same name. a flurry of sounds hit me. a chorus of angels from one voice. he performed a new song which "we would be hearing a lot of soon", which he said was one of mcflys favourite's to elicit a cheap response from the crowd. it was called "oblivion". immediatley i thought of terrorvision, but i have to say that i think allistars song may even be better than that. he leapt in to the crowd; i feared for his life. he finished with "bring it on", a bitter-sweet tale of live and love, much like all of your favorite episodes of the O.C. rolled into one giant cake of a song. apparently mcfly like this one too........
