You read the rules correctly. No CC limit and use the cam of your choice. My personal observation is that, this is not a very radical cam lift and a hydraulic will give much better reliability and work fine, but will leave it up to the engine builder.Some tracks already allow solid lifters, so they may elect to stay with what they have.
