Hey Driver,
I'm Sorry I hadn't replied sooner. Do they run camaros at New Smyrna in the super stock class? That is a good question. The rules say full frame, 108" wheel base and the only unibody cars allowed are mopar products. If your familiar to NSS. thier rules have a tendancey to change like the wind. Who knows, maybe camaros, firebird and mustangs will be allowed to run in that class in the near future. Maybe when one of the local favorites decides he wants to run one, thats when the rule will change.
(but thats only my opinion) However, if your looking for an alternate track to race at, maybe you should try Volusia County Speedway Park. The Hobby stock rules are simillar to Fl Sreet Stock rules, Except for a 10" tire and rim you have to run on the right front. I've been told the pay out is pretty good (better than NSS), plus they're running a 100 lap race that pays, $10,000 to win on july the 30th. Unibody cars are allowed in this class, with a minimum 101" wheel base. The phone# is 904-985-4402 and thier internet address is Http:www.volusiacounyspeedwaypark.com/ I hope this message has been helpful. Good luck on race day. U.R.
