Well..... The ules say one and a quarter inch for the adapter and gasket package. Since then I have been informed that there are commercially available adapters that are mandated by some tracks here in Florida. These adapters are about one and one half inch in thickness. We will not disqualify anyone using these adapters as long as they don't get carried away with gasket thickness. Two gaskets total. Anything thicker than 1/16 inch will be considered a spacer and not a gasket. So If the spacer is 1 1/2 inch and two 1/16 inch gaskets are used, the total package will be allowed to be1 5/8 inch total. Home made adapters will still be limited to 1 1/2 inch total thickness. make sense ?
