• Autumn entered the Cafe looking fabulous... her tall, lithe form was well toned and supple from hours of working out and jogging- which was he new addiction since she'd kicked the drugs... her hair was long and wavey, highlighted subtly, and she looked much healthier in general. As well as kicking the drugs and coming through rehab clear, she had also kicked the boyfriend- Nathan, who her family blamed for leading her into her self destruction- though she never did. She owned up to her own mistakes and had taken responsibility, and was set on building her life back up- under the ever watchful eyes of her family. She had gotten a job and her own place and was doing better... Autumn grinned as she spotted her twin sister, slipping off her sunglasses and moving over to where she sat, dropping into the seat next to her and ordering a smoothy. "Whats the she-devil done now?" • She groaned, running her hand down her face. It was obvious the girls were identicle twins even though Summer's hair was darker than Autumn's was. She let out a low breath and shook her head. "The kid hates me, seriously hates me, tells me every day and then suddenly Kai comes home and she is an angel - I swear he thinks I am making it all up and his whole family thinks I am just having problems adjusting to raising another woman's child. It's bullshit and I am about to freaking just take a vacation from life." She stated, her arms crossing dramatically over her chest as she eyed her sister, a pout moving out of her lips and making her look all the more appealing. • Autumn mirrored her sisters pout playfully, trying to cheer her up, a smile tugging softly at the corners. Autumn had no drama in her life right now- and while she highly appreciated that, she did , and always had, sharing in on her sisters dramas. "I think Kai believes you I just don't think he knows how to deal with it since shes such an angel to him. Maybe you should tape it. Can't she go to kindergarten or something soon? Maybe you need to spend some time just the two of you... Just you and Trinity." Autumn mused, sinking into her seat comfortable and flashing the waitress a smile as she took her drink from her, sucking at the straw and tasting the delicious fruit drink. • "Yeah right, we've tried that, she just screams and makes people think I am beating her." She sighed, running her hand down her face. "God, if she's this bad at three, how the hell is she going to be at thirteen? Do you think Kai would be pissed if I brought military school or something?" She rolled her eyes at the last part, kidding of course, but it sounded like a blessed relief to her. "I never get any time with my husband. Do you know how much that sucks? As soon as we go to bed, you can count down five minutes and there she is crawling in with us because she had a bad dream or wants her daddy and when he does stand up to her and put her back in bed, she screams so loud that it makes me ears bleed!" Her lip tucked between her teeth before she looked to the door. "He's supposed to meet me up here later, before you have to go and we are going to go pick the kids up from Kiers. • Autumn nodded slowly. In all honesty she didn;t have a clue what to say to make her sister feel better about it. She had no experience with kids, other than with Maliik- who she adored. "I feel for you sis... maybe when she starts school it'll get easier. And maybe het a lock for your room and soundproof it." • She sighed, shrugging her shoulder as she sipped at her coffee, she looked tired, a little overly so. It was just a lot of work dealing with a toddler who hated your guts. At the mention of her son, she smiled a little. "He's good...got a bit of a knot on his head cuz Trin 'accidently' dropped a toy on him but he took it in stride. He's walking all over the place now, you'd think he was conditioning for a sprint or something." She smiled warmly, her little boy was a blessing that was for sure. • Autumn cocked a brow at the story of her nephews 'bump' to the head. "Can I take him to the zoo one day next week? They have baby seals!" She asked, cocking a brow to her sister "I'll take Trin too... I might make Kier come with me as well..." Autumn had always loved animals- but she'd had little reason to go until her sister and relations started poping out babies. She glanced up as a tall, imposing figure came through the doorway, cocking a brow to Summer "And right on time..." // Malakai wandered over to where he saw his wife and her sister sat, keys in one hand and a pair od sunglasses in his other. • "Yeah, you can take Maliik...I dunno about taking Trin....she might forget your not me and throw a fit on you or something." Her brow furrowed thoughtfully at that, a low breath escaping her lips. "She does well for Kier though...if he goes than it should be ok..." She shrugged a little again, the beautiful little girl was just an absolute terror. At Autumns next words, she glanced behind her, seeing her husband walk in. She smiled just a little at him before she turned her attention back to her sister. "So, yeah, check with Kier and lemme know...we can figure out a day or whatever." She smiled warmly at her twin before she took a long sip of her frappacino before she looked back over to Kai. • Autumn nodded in agreement, making a mental note to call kier later on and make him come with them to the zoo, saying 'hey' to her brother in law. Kai glanced behand him to the counter, trying to decide before shrugging hi shoulders a touch "Nah... I figured we could go grab a bite to eat at that italian you like before we pick up the kids... your brother left a message on the answer phone saying they were watchin' a movie and not to rush..." He glanced over to Autumn and cocked a brow "You're welcome to come too... my treat?" • She smiled a little at her sister before she cocked a brow. "Plans with who? Anyone I know?" So she was naturally curious of her sisters love life and wondering what was going on at all times. She felt a little out of sorts with Kai, they hadn't had any time together and she just felt like there was something...distance between them. A smile played on her lips as she gazed at Autumn with a cocked brow, her eyes moving to Kai for a second. "Do you know of anyone she would have plans with?" She questioned him before looking back to Autumn again, a smile on her face. She lifted her leg, bending one knee and wrapping her arm around it, her chin resting there as she gazed at her sister. • Autumn laughed a little at her sisters curiousity, rolling her eyes a touch and sucking at her drink, watching Summer playfully and keeping her in suspence a moment while she drained the plastic cup. "No, no one you know... just a guy I met at the gym." She grinned a touch and rolled her eyes playfully, grabbing her purse and leaving a $10 for her drink "Have fun guys". // Kai smirked and cocked a brow to Autumn as she left, resting an arm behind Summer on the top of the seat. "She seems to be doing better... " He looked down to Summer, smiling a touch. Things were maybe a bit stressed between them... but he wasn;t sure how to fix it. • "Yeah, she does seem better..." It was weird to think she had been in the same position as Autumn about a year and a half ago. Desperately trying to kick the habit that she craved with every breath she took, living from high to high...it hadn't seemed like a horrible life at the time but looking back now she saw how dangerous it had been. Hell, she had been shot, in and hout of rehab, had her heart broken...and she was only twenty-two years old. Shaking her head from her dark thoughts, she cleared her throat and ran a hand through her hair. "Um..yeah, yeah, dinner sounds fine." She smiled again, shifting to collect their empty cups and standing to throw them away. When she came back over to where he was sitting on the couch, she looked back down at him for a long moment before she just dropped herself down onto his lap, her head resting on his shoulder. He said- almost reluctant to ask... he was always dreading hearing what Trinity had done next. He knew the little girl was a demon... when she didn;t get her way she screamed bloody murder, and he tried not to spoil her. He just didn;t know how to help resolve the situation with Summer. • She shrugged a little, not wanting to bitch to him about what a brat his daughter was ot her, it just made her sound almost as childish as Trinity. The two of them had been married almost nine months now and the more she thought about that...well it was what had driven her to make her next statement. "I think we should give the kids to one of our parents for a week, at least and take our honey moon." She let out a soft breath, feeling a tad bit selfish for wanting that but she really did think they needed some time away, just them, to make sure their marriage was strong enough to last.
