She looks over to the bed that she had set up for Keaira before the adoption was complete. It was equipped with a thick sheepskin mat on top of a basket filled with wool, and a thinner sheepskin blanket with smaller blankets folded at the foot of the small basket-bed. She knew that she would have to upgrade the bed as Keaira grew, but for now this was perfect. She laid her new daughter down to her nap on her comfortable new bed. She hoped that Keaira was warm enough. She tucked the sheepskin blanket around her, and put one of the smaller folded blankets on top.
