Personally, I don't think Trance was truly ill. I think she feigned her illness to get herself off the bridge so she could go check with her "family" to see what was going on.

The reason I think this is because we've seen Trance 'sick' at least twice in the past and neither match up with how she was acting in POTS. The other times she was sick, to clairfy what episodes I'm thinking of here (in case someone missed them), were in "It Makes a Lovely Light" and "Slipsfighter: The Dogs of War."

In both of these episode Trance said she felt ill and then collapsed (it actually got so bad in IMALL that she went into convolutions :-( ). Both of the previous times she acted very differently than she did in POTS and I think that's one reason both Dylan and Tyr noticed that she might be faking her illness (particuarly since both Dylan and Tyr were with her in S:TDoW when she got sick the last time).

Anyway, I'm not going to say that Trance didn't feel guilty about what was happening because it is quite likely she was feeling that way. However, I just don't believe she was truly sick in the sense she has been at least twice in the past and I'm not sure she was feeling guilty enough to really be physically sick in this episode (because as Mai mentioned, she didn't seem all that sick when Tyr caught up to her the first time in the episode (IMO she was more pre-occupied than sick at that point)).
