Since I was never terribly comfortable posting at the Slipstream, it's demise hasn't been too much of a problem for me. I was a member of the Event Horizon BEFORE the Slipstream imploded. I am trying the official board--which is behaving itself these days. Pretty much.
I stopped by the Slipstream Underground and saw who was behind it and thought, oh, good, a place for the rude pessimists to congregate without bothering polite optimists.
I wish we had a little more lively conversation--maybe we will once the new episodes start for those of us in the deep south--but this is definitely the MOST comfortable place. I never worry about a nasty attack coming out of left field. Very comfortable, indeed.
Maigrey, your ladyship, could we get some comfy chairs and snacks, please, to make it even nicer. Heheheh.
