I also enjoyed this ep. As to the DROM nasayers, well actually several liked it. Said it reminded them of S1 Drom. I don't know about that. I liked it because it explored the characters, especially Rhade and Trance. I liked hearing what Rhade thought the Neits should be, what they were suppose to be, not what they had become. I always felt the changes in Tyr were for a reason. I think this is it. Tyr is more than a killer, he is more than just interested in himself. They have been showing us this more and more and while many feel this "wussified" Tyr, I never did. I looked at it as exploring more about Tyr, but more so, exploring the Neits themselves. They were to be warrior poets, not mercenaries and power mungers.

It was a very good clip show. I also thought TTWCC in S2 was also a very good clip show.

While I enjoy watching Kevin anyway, I do like to see him do the deep dramatic now and again. I wouldn't want him to be that sullen and lacking affect all the time, but in this case it played out well. I found it interesting that Harper had to create Dylan for Rhade, so Dylan's tone, his affect or lack thereof, his playing devil's advocate and pointing out all the wrongs to Rhade had to be programmed in, right? I mean, a hologram doesn't think for himself does it?

I have enjoyed all of S3. Each ep for different reasons. This one was really good in explaining Rhade and why Dylan could never truely believe he would be a traitor. It also explore Trance, which I loved. The Dark Backwards will simply add to what we learned about her in this ep.
