I Wonder, If Even The Writers, Had Any Idea What The Hell
They Are Doing/Where They Were Trying To Go, With This Last
Season....

So Little Makes Sense, That It Goes Well Beyond Simple
Loss of Continuity. And Sadly, Seems To Be a Case of Having
Forgotten That SCIENCE, Is The First Word In
"Science-Fiction". BELIEVABILITY Apparently, Was Long Ago
Abandoned. But a Sneaking Feeling, Makes Me Think That These
'Writers', Havent Realized That Yet.. But Instead, Are Under
The Assumption That, What They Have Done Thus Far, Is Just
Peachy! :) If ANYTHING Numbered The Days, Of Andromeda's
Longevity, It Was THEM.. And This Half-Hearted Attempt At
Throwing a Season Together. Of Course, Its Possible, That
They Knew All Along, That There Wouldnt Be a Season Six, And
Maybe Figured: "why bother?!" -I Would Hate To Think That,
BUT.... Seefra, Speaks For Itself.

A Die Hard Fan Of The Series, I Have Followed & Grown To
Love It, Starting Since Those First Earliest Days When The
TV/Trailer/Promo's First Sparked Anticipation. And When The
Series FINALLY Aired..?? It ROCKED!! For Awhile, StoryLines
And Episodes Only Got Better, And BETTER. It Was With Mixed
Feelings, I Watched Things Begin To Take on a Downward
Swing.. But Hopes Were High, When Sci-Fi Channel Agreed To
Continue On The Series, Past Their D.O.A. Date. Hell, It
Worked For StarGate, Didnt It? (lol!!) And So I Watched,
Compelled To Continue Doing So.. Even As Disappointment,
After Disappointment, Met With My Efforts, Each Week. Too
Bad, All Those High Hopes That I Had Had For Andromeda, Had
Been Misplaced.

It's a Shame.... Becuz 'Andromeda', And The Andromeda
Universe, Had SOOOO MUCH Potential. But It Was SQUANDORED.
Mostly By Incompetant Writers?? Who Took Over In The Later
Couple/Few Seasons. Everything Started Going Downhill, All
of About TEN SECONDS, After Robert Hewitt Wolfe, Left. It's
Almost Funny To Read The Tribune/Fireworks 'Letter To Fans'
That States That Wolfe's Leaving Will Not Affect The Show..
As, It Obviously Did. How Many Threads on This Site Alone,
Claim That Andromeda Is Not/HAS NOT Been The Same, Since
Seasons 1 & 2 ?? Feel Free To Read The Concellation Prize:

<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.andromedatv.com/features/writers.html">http://www.andromedatv.com/features/writers.html</a>

I Loved The Andromeda Universe Enough, That.. Sure.... I
Would Feel Equally Compelled To Watch a Spin Off Series. And
Honestly, I Probably Secretly, Want To See One. But That
Might Just Be Blind Optimism Speaking... For If The New
Series Continued On In The Same Fashion, That SEASON FIVE
Has? Then The Truth Is.. Some Things Are Just Better Left
Off As Dead. :( Even As Heartbreaking, As That Can
Sometimes Be....

A Final Note.. The TellTale Sign of BAD Sci-Fi Writing?
Is That When The Show Ends, The Viewer Is FORCED To Start
Trying To Construct His/Her OWN Explanations For The Things
That They Just Watched. Struggling To Find Some Common
Thread of LOGIC, (As Common Sense, Has Already Failed...)
That Would MAKE What Was Just Seen, SOMEHOW, Even VAGUELY
POSSIBLE. This Process Usually Entails One To Go Out on a
Limb, And Settle for a "Long Shot", As An Explanation. Bear
All That In Mind, Please.... And Think Back On Season Five.
Like I Said---->> DISAPPOINTING, AT BEST. :(

Life Is Full of Tragicness, Isnt It? *sighs*

P.S. Keith Hamilton Cobb Saw All of This Coming. Well
Before ANY of Us "Loyal/BLIND Fans" Did(?). He Got
Out, While The Getting, Was Good. And While I Used To
Resent Him For Bailing (At The Time), I Have Since
Come To See The UTTER WISDOM, of His Decision. He
Left (For a Number of Reasons) Before He Was Forced
To Be Associated With The DEMEANING LEVELS That This
Show Ended Up Digressing To. He Left While It Still
Was Teetering (About To Fall, Tho), From The Top.
Now, I Ask You.... Does Anyone Here, BLAME Kevin
Sorbo, For Wanting To Do The SAME (Albeit, TOO
LATE!!) ????
