I have to say I didn't see or feel any chemistry between Metis and Rommie. I thought I was alone. Over on SS most folks found that to be a wonderful scene. I too liked the way Dylan realized the stars can be explored and you are no less a person for wanting to do this. I also enjoyed the way Dylan asked the crew what they wanted to do in this situation, I found that quite refreshing.
As to Metis, I thought he was a bit over the top emotionally. But maybe that is the explorer in him and what is the difference between he and Dylan.
Yeah, I love the way everyone else on the show can kiss someone, have a love scene and its okay, but not Dylan. Drives me nuts. Anyway, I liked this ep. I did think the fight went on too long. I know it was meant to bond Dylan and Metis but I think they could have had that happen sooner. I think that is probably my biggest problem with the show, the fight scenes often go on much longer than needed and the bad guys just stand there like idiots. Other than that I have been enjoying the season to date.
