Yes I am an Iolausian, heck I run the "Altar of Iolaus" and yes I loved Shards. Do I see Harper as Iolaus? No. There is only one Michael Hurst :) Harper is smart, quick, hyper, attitude, a scrapper sure, but he's no Iolaus [Iolaus always got the girl!] LOL

I loved this ep. And I said, just after it aired, that this was what "In Heaven Now Are Three" could have been, and I loved IHNAT as well! I loved the adventure and just plain fun of it all. No, I did not like that whole split screen effect - it was annoying. I did however like that end of scene bit with the shards slowly coming together.

I for one don't think Dylan knew what to expect when the Vase was put back together - I saw someone at that 'other' board saying it was a waste of time if Dylan knew it was useless to begin with. He and Harper had both grown up on the legend, and I think that's why Dylan and his team never attempted to put it together 310 years before... So now he knows, or does he? It could be like that piece of the Engine of Creation... working behind the scenes to bring them the blessing of the Cosmos or whatever that quote was :)

I liked seeing Harper fight, gives us an idea of what he must have had to deal with scrabbling for food on Earth as a kid. He's not going to be scared to fight Humans, no, his terror is with the Magog. But now he's 'been there done that'.

I doubt we'll ever escape "Hercules" references, Mythology and Astronomy are too closely tied. I saw nothing wrong with this, except that Zeus felt wrong somehow - I kept thinking that Anthony Quinn would have had a blast with that role.

If this is fun and adventure in Andromeda - give me more like this!
