Subject: me complaining again

Yesterday I came to see you
It's been so long
Since I've seen your face
Or felt your warm touch
I go out of my way to see you
I'd do anything just to be with you
Why didn't you want me?
It's not the first time it's happened
I feel like it's somehow my fault though
But you won't let me in
And I don't know why . . .
You say you love me
You say you want me
Not bad enough it would seem
Your life's a mess
That I've been swept into
And I'm suppose to know what to do?
I want you so bad
You have to understand
After all I've done
I feel like you want me
But somethings in the way
We can't even talk
You have to see someone to talk
I see you for half an hour
Once a week
Maybe well go out twice a month
For a couple hours
An endless cycle
That's going no where
I know it's tough
You don't have time
I've heard it before
But if you really loved me
You would make time
I don't know how
But that's what you do
When you love someone
You go out of your way
I can't do it anymore though
Only to be shot down
Love goes both ways
Doing things for each other
I try to make you feel special
I'm always their to talk to
I would do anything for you
Maybe you'll go out of your way someday
For me
Just because you want to see me
Maybe you'll drive miles
Just to talk for five minutes
Maybe you'll drop everything
Just to be with me for a moment
But you can't . . .
So why can I?
It doesn't make since
It's nice to think of how it could be
Even in the middle of all these problems
We could make it perfect
I know I'm not always their either
But I try
You have to know I love you
But you have to understand
This pain I feel when you don't want me
There is so much you don't understand
Just because we don't have time . . .
I'm so sorry
For the way I treat you sometimes
I never want to take you for granted
The sweat voice that calls me in the morning
Just to say hi
The beautiful girl that comes to see me
Every Tuesday and Thursday
The caring friend
Who always has time to talk
The soft kisses you give me
On late Friday nights
All because you love me
Thank you
I just can't get enough of you
You always leave me wanting more
I hope I do the same
I need you so badly
Our time together
Means so much to me
Nothing will ever replace it
I can't forget someone like you
Even though we don't have much time together
It just makes me realize how much I want you
Which makes it hard . . . but so worth the pain
I can't apologize enough
For being selfish and stubborn
But that's why I write this
Because I want to be honest
I want you to know how I feel
Even if it's only me being a jerk
For me to tell you how much I love you
I also have to say how I feel inside
Good or bad
I need to know you
From the heart
But I can't if you won't let me
So please tell me you love me
And show me that you do
Why . . . because I love you
