Nickers a greeting, but steps back, frightened of the other mare's gaze. Turns to look at his father's angry expression. The small foal was confused at what was going on.... She nickers to her grandson, wondering if he knew who she was....stops to look at Dare. She realized the mare was headstrong, she too had been once like that. But much had changed in her long 5 years of life. She felt the mare's defiance, but knew what harm could come to her family if it was not channeled into good. Many a horse had turned away from all that was right, because they were not willing to listen or respect.
