Flaming Forest
Flaming Forest
Your evil spirit has led you to this place. The forest around seems to glow red. You pad deeper into it, you think that you can smell smoke and sense fire, but you can't see any smoke or see and fire. Suddently a flaming "ball" hits the ground. It turns into a female wolf. She is glistening white with intense purple eyes. She steps to the side as a big male takes her place. The female nuzzles him and he begins to speak.

"My name is Death-Wish and this is my pack, Flaming Forest."
He smiles at his mate and then nuzzles her. She seemed very lowly, but when you gazed into her eyes you could see purple flames of evilness. You decided that it would be best if you didn't mess with her. As you gaze into the alpha male's eyes, you can see a burning of fire within them too. You know it would also be best not to challenge him for the pack. The alpha male starts to speak again.

"I named my pack after my beloved FireKiss. She is the love of my life, you see?"

You quickly nod in agreement with him and steal a glance at her. You begin to think of how pretty she actually is, and you start to think that she would make a fine alpha female. She did look pretty strong. You looked Death-Wish over. He was a very big wolf and very muscley. He could probably take on a wolf and not worry about losing. Maybe he had killed many a wolf that had challenged him. Death-Wish begins to talk again, and you abruptly stop looking the two wolves over and listen intently.*

"If you ever even think about harming my mate, you will be in deeper worry about what I will do to you than if you did the same thing in another's pack. This is my territory and while you are in it you must, without question, obey my every word."

He looks toward her mate to see if she had anything to say. Her purple eyes glanced at Death-Wish and stepped foreward. She was very graceful, you think to yourself, a true female wolf. When she speaks her voice seems as a fawn's. Maybe she wasn't so tough after all. But, when you here how some of the words are pronounced, you change you tune quickly.

"I am FireKiss, Death-Wish's mate and the alpha female here. I love my mate dearly and would die for him. Don't even think of double crossing him! You must obey my every word here as well. Me and my mate are equal to eachother and we are able to do anything we please here. Don't slip up, my friend.

She smiles. Was it challenging or was it friendly, or maybe it was a warning smile. You ponder over it for a second and decide that it was a warning smile. You see her nuzzle her mate loving and decide that their love was probably too strong to break. Death-Wish begins to speak.

"Come, follow us if you wish to join! If you don't, you best be on your way! We don't take favorably intruders that wander around our territory aimlessly. Keep that in mind."

They nuzzle eachother once more and then dart up a hill and stand on an edge that juts out over the side of the hill. Death-Wish and FireKiss hold their heads high and they chorus the song of life. Death-Wish's voice as low as the north wind and the note of a base. FireKiss's voice as high as a flute and as beautiful. The sun begins to set behind them and you can see the outlines of their magnificant bodies. They are truely the alphas of the pack and you know that they deserve to be treated as such. You smiles wistfully and follow them. As you are trotting up the hill, they both smile at you and leave the ledge. They meet you, their heads still tall. FireKiss is once again silent.

"We have no family living with us, but are happy just the same! If we ever have pups, it will be every wolf's duty to help protect them. We protect all pups here. Remember that! We don't take lightly the mis-treatment of pups.

FireKiss nods lightly and when Death-Wish turns and trots farther into the forest, she follows obediently and lovingly. She smiles at the thought of having little wolf pups running around. They both loved pups as you could plainly tell. The beginning of the Flaming Forest saga has begun!
