Subject: Taking Care of my Horses!

I walk into the stable and give Snowflake, Danny, Libby, and Comanche a pat and a carrot. I get Snowflakes grooming kit and groom her quickly. Then I get her tack and tack her up. I warm her up with a walk, trot, and canter. Then I gallop her in a field for a 10 minutes. I cool her down and untack her. I give her a pat and groom her. Then I do the same with Danny and Comanche. I get Libby's halter and put it on her. I gently snap on the leadrope and lead her to the indoor ring. Then I lead her around at a walk for a couple minutes. I tie her to the edge fence and go get a saddle pad and saddle. I go up to her and give her a peice of bread I pat her gently and pick up the saddle pad. I gently and slowly place it on her back. She jumps and the saddle pad falls off. I stroke her gently and put the saddle pad on again. She doesn't jump so much this time and the saddle pad stayed on. I petted her and gave her a sugar lump. I pick up the saddle and stroke her some more. I gently place the saddle on her back and she jumps. I pick it up and put it back on. She lets it stay on this time and I give her a piece of apple. I pat her and tighten the girth. She kicks alittle but calms down. I give her a pat and a carrot. I take of the saddle and saddle pad and lead her back to her stall. I unsanp her leadrope and groom her. I give her a pat and a kiss. I put a turnout blanket on all the horses and put them in the paddock. I muck out their stalls, clean their tack, and put hay, grain, bran mash, oats, and fresh water in each stall. I put each horse back in their stall. I give them each a pat and a carrot and leave the stable.
