She smiles, and he holds his head high. As she shuts the small gate behind them, she quickly leaps onto his back with one swift motion. She nudges him, and, at the place where the starting gates should be, she makes him trot the entire track to warm up. Then, she stops at the white line that was painted into the dirt, and pats his neck. She whispers to him, and looks at her stopwatch that was around her neck. She kicked him, and as soon as she did, started the watch. She bent low and urged him to go faster. FInally when they were nearing the finish line, she picked up the watch again and stopped it as they crossed. They slid to a stop. She checked the time, 3:27:13 Wow Wind!
