You do not believe in capitalism you believe in business owning the government. BTW I signed my own and my husbands check for over 10 years > we had our own business . We quit when i lost my voice and could no longer do my part of it . IT was a union construction shop and opposite of your position we never begrudged one penny we put out for our workers. and in all the years we were in business we only had 3 workers than dogged it on the job >WE found ourselves in the position of having to put new workers on two times right befOre Christmas we told them at the time it was just for a few weeks work. They were glad to have any work. We also gave the short time workers a bonus on their checks before christmas . Said that was the first time that had ever happened to them one fellow was almost in tears. I believe in private enterprise and many of the dems who post here have their own business you however have said you were a electition did you have your own company to further free enterprise or did you just collect a check from some other person. I think I have figured out why you are so against dems. you are afraid you might have to pay something for this war by paying higher taxes . You seemingly want others to do it for you . I am not for capitalism bush style with no bidding for tax dollar spending and it being awarded to buddies and I am against it if the businesses destroy the enviornment . If they are good citizens like costco as opposed to walmart then i say good for them and go go go. By the way costco pays their workers a lot more than minumum and also gives them lots of benifits and still makes a profit. I am comparing these two companies as one is dem and the other rep . with walmart it costs communities to take care of the health care of their workers. and do not come back with they can buy cheap health care if you are making minimum you are lucky to be able to afford the gas to get to work yet alone health care. If big business is a fair entity in the communitiy and has some sense of community its fine . most do not have any sense of public responsibility and i think it reprehensible . They did not go bankrupt when they were paying 50 percent in taxes and were good community citizens however that was back in the days when ceos were not making obscene wages . I am not saying they should pay 50 percent in taxes I am merely saying that most of the large corp are still around after paying those high taxes .
