BTW, I would question whether people built in a flood plain. If a river overflows it's banks and you are flooded, you built in a flood plain. >other than the fact that there are many rivers in the >west which drain the w side of the rockies and all the >cascade rainge . puts a lot of water in a small area >compared to what is drained in the east from the >rockies. ITs mainly business who are hurt along with >thousands of cattle sheep etc. And what is reaLly bad >is they cannot burn anything that has been flooded the >cost of clean up is horrendous . Its hardly up to the >homeowner to clean up highways , roads etc and all the >sewarge overflow . [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
